Riverside USD 114 has recently gained recognition from The Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) and the Kansas State Board of Education, in the 2023 Kansans Can Star Recognition Program. This program, designed to acknowledge district achievements, covers key areas such as Kindergarten Readiness, Civic Engagement, Individual Plans of Study, Social/Emotional Growth, Graduation Rate, Post Secondary Success, and Preparation for Post Secondary.
Dedicated to realizing the vision outlined by the Kansas State Board of Education, Riverside USD 114 proudly received the Copper Star for outstanding performance in the area of Kindergarten Readiness. This acknowledgment reflects the district's ongoing efforts and dedication to meeting and exceeding educational benchmarks.
In acknowledgment of Riverside USD 114's dedication and progress, Mrs. Gatz and the Riverside Board of Education presented the Cyclone Pride Award to the Riverside preschool program during the November 13th Board of Education meeting.
