Friday, November 7th, the Cyclones traveled back to Centralia, Kansas for a re-match with a regional title and the season on the line. A hand-off from Beckam Griffin to Chase Hewins put the Cyclones on the board early in the first quarter, the extra point was good by Hewins. A 12 yard rush by Ty'Zell Harrington punched another one in during the first quarter. The extra point was good by Hewins. The Cyclones led 14-0 at the end of the first quarter. A 60 yard kick-off return by Hewins scored again and the attempt at a field goal failed. A short rush by Elijah Moore scored a final time in the half and the extra point was good by Hewins. The Cyclones led 27-6 at halftime. Another run by Moore scored and the extra point was good by Hewins. Riverside led 34-14 at the end of the third quarter. Another dominant run by Elijah Moore scored a final time for the Cyclones and the extra point was good by Hewins. The final score was 41-26, Riverside. This was a historical win for the Cyclones as they have never secured a regional title. The Cyclones will travel to Jackson Heights on Friday, November 14th for a re-match with the Cobras in the sectional round of the state football playoffs. 

Friday, November 14th the Cyclones ended their historic season with a 21-14 loss to undefeated Jackson Heights. The Cobras struck first but missed their attempt at an extra point leaving the Cyclones down, 6-0. A run by Beckam Griffin put the Cyclones on the board in the first quarter. The extra point was successful by Hewins. The Cyclones led 7-6 at the end of the first quarter. A recovered fumble by Ty Harrington put the ball back in the hands of the Cyclones in Cobra territory. Another short run by Griffin scored again for the Cyclones and the extra point was good by Hewins. The Cyclones led 14-6 at halftime. Jackson Heights came out swinging and tied the game 14-14 at the end of the third quarter. The Cyclones were unable to respond and fell short with a final score of 21-14, Cobras. Riverside ends their season 8-3, district runner-up, regional champions, and sectional runner-up.
