The students at the Riverside elementary and middle schools recently participated in the annual “Knights of Columbus Free Throw Shoot”. The following students will advance to the second round which will take place on February 2nd.

Middle School Announcements for Friday, January 24th
The Cyclone Boy's Basketball team will be back in action at the McLouth Invitational Tournament on Friday at 6:00 pm in the Gold Gym. Go Cyclones!
The Lady Cyclones will be in action tonight at the McLouth Invitation Tournament. The start time is 5:15 in the Gold Gym! Good Luck, Ladies!
Join us in celebrating the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game by wearing RED on Friday! Go Chiefs!

We are planning to follow a regular schedule on Tuesday, January 21, including regular bus routes. If you have concerns about your road or turnaround points, please contact your driver.
Please dress warmly, as it is expected to be very cold in the morning.
Also, now is a great time to make plans for future days when a 2-hour late start may be necessary.

Middle School Daily Announcements 1/14/25
The inaugural season of the Riverside Middle School Girls Wrestling team started in Sabetha on Friday night. Congratulations to these eight girls, Coach. Ritzer and Coach Perry (not pictured). We saw many great things from a group that started wrestling less than a month ago. They'll be back in action Monday at Rossville. Congratulations ladies! Go Cyclones!
BOARD OF EDUCATION REGULAR MEETING CHANGE NOTICE : The Riverside Board of Education January 13th Regular Monthly Meeting has been postponed until Monday, January 20, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. in the District Office-BOE Conference Room, 1409 Vermont, Elwood, KS 66024.
School will be in session for USD 114 on Thursday, January 9th. Alternate bus routes will be in effect. Paved roads only. Bus drivers will be reaching out to families that are affected.
