Riverside High Drama Department is hosting a haunted house on Saturday, October 23rd from 7-10pm at the west campus. Cost is $3 for students and $5 for adults. The drama department is also starting its annual Halloween Rubber Ducky fundraiser. Order forms are available in the office and from Mrs. Gilbert. The cost is $3 per gift bag. Rubber ducky gift bags will be delivered to Pre-K through 12th grade classrooms on October 28th and 29th. You may also pick them up from Mrs. Gilbert at the time of purchase. All profits from this fundraiser will be donated to the Doniphan County Pet Rescue. Reminders to students – Students are not to use the elevator unless they have permission from the principal. Also, as stated in your handbook, cell phones are not allowed in restrooms or locker rooms at any time during the school day or after school.

Flu Shots available: The Doniphan County Health Department will be hosting the Drive-Thru Flu Shot clinic in Troy today, October 13th from 9am - 6 pm in the alley behind the health department. For anyone who can’t make it to the Drive-Thru Clinic, the Health Department will be giving flu shots at Riverside Schools on Monday, October 18th. They will be at the West Campus in Wathena at 10 am and in Elwood at the East Campus at 11 am. Shots will be available to staff, students, and community members.
