May 13-17th is National Police Week and we were able to celebrate with our local officers today. Officers Mark Allen, Nohl Vogel, Chief Brandon Whetstine and Chief Dennis Thompson joined Riverside students for lunch. Every student received an ice cream treat to celebrate. We are extremely grateful for these officers and those not pictured who work diligently to keep our schools and communities safe. THANK YOU!

Field events start at 3:00, prelims are at 5:00. Choir students need to return their choir outfit. Turn in all checked out library books. Books not turned in will be declared lost and will result in payment for the item. Because we believe you will “ice” over finals, StuCo would like to treat high school students to an Icee during lunch. Students will need to pick up an Icee coupon from their seminar teacher today to redeem at lunch. SAFE Driving Tip – Don’t Rely Solely on Cruise Control. Many drivers rely on cruise control for the most part of a long trip and for good reason – it makes the journey endurable. But it can also lead to laziness and a loss of focus on the driver’s part. If you are using cruise control, make it short and try to keep your focus on the road ahead.
