Riverside Middle School is excited to offer various opportunities for our student-athletes to work out this summer! These workouts are for students in the 7th and 8th grades next fall. If you have any questions, contact the respective coach of that sport.


May 13-17th is National Police Week and we were able to celebrate with our local officers today. Officers Mark Allen, Nohl Vogel, Chief Brandon Whetstine and Chief Dennis Thompson joined Riverside students for lunch. Every student received an ice cream treat to celebrate. We are extremely grateful for these officers and those not pictured who work diligently to keep our schools and communities safe. THANK YOU!

Riverside Elementary students participated in their end-of-the-year service project by collecting Pennies for Pets. Preschool thru fifth grade students raised $197.42 to be donated to the Doniphan County Pet Rescue. Thank you to our families for encouraging our students to be contributing members of our community by respecting others and giving of themselves!

We've had a great week celebrating our AMAZING Teachers and Staff! Thank you to the Riverside PTO, STUCO, Mrs. Anderson & her art students, the BOE, Theatre & Drama Club, and everyone else who has helped us celebrate our teachers and staff! It has been a great week!


The Riverside-Doniphan West Baseball team wrapped up their season today with a 4-1 loss to Perry Lecompton in Regional play. They finish their season with a record of 8-11.

BASEBALL FIELD LOCATION: Homefield Baseball Complex: Field #1 1501 N 90th Street Kansas City, Ks 66112
These are all turf fields. So no metal cleats, no sunflower seeds, or no chewing gum are allowed in the complex. The complex will fine $300 per game if any of these are violated.
