BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING NOTICE OF CHANGE The regularly scheduled Riverside BOE meeting for Monday, October 9, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. will be held at the West Campus High School Conference Room, 705 Jessie, Wathena, KS 66090. Enter through the main door to the high school and take a right. The conference room is the first door to your right.

Riverside USD 114 – Riverside Schools Accepting Sealed Bids for: 2006 Ford Taurus, last known mileage 162,080. The air conditioning compressor bearing needs repaired and the vehicle is not drivable without these repairs. Vehicle has received regular maintenance. For additional information, please contact the District Office at 913-365-5632. Bids MUST be submitted by October 6th at 1:00 PM on the sealed bid form found on the Riverside USD 114 webpage at https://www.usd114.org. All sealed bids should be delivered to the Riverside USD 114 Board of Education Office located at 1409 Vermont Street, Elwood, Kansas 66024.

8:00 P.M. - Powderpuff Football Games all are welcome to come see as the girls play for the ultimate title.
Thursday
7:55 A.M. - spirit day participants need to be counted and emailed in
8:00 P.M. - Bonfire-Come out and enjoy as our school gets geared up for HOCO 2023
Friday
1:00 - Parade Begins. The parade will follow the same route as the fall festival back to the school for the pep rally!
Immediately after Parade - Pep rally Begins
3:15 - Pep Rally ends
6:30 P.M. - Coronation
7:00 P.M. - Homecoming Games come out and show your support as your Cyclones take on Onaga Buffalo.
Immediately after game - Homecoming Dance


Riverside Middle School Volleyball sweeps, the Doniphan West tournament. Both the 8th and 7th graders won all 6 matches on Saturday, playing Troy, D-West and Hiawatha. They will be in action again on Monday, closing out their regular season, they host Hiawatha, games will start at 4:30PM.


The Junior High Cheerleaders are having a Chipotle fundraiser next Tuesday. Stop by or order online and grab a delicious meal at Chipotle from 5-9 to help support our team!

Riverside sweeps Royal Valley. The Riverside Middle School volleyball team hosted Royal Valley on Thursday Sept 14th. All 4 teams came away with wins. 8A,8B,7A,7B. Congrats on a great night of volleyball. The girls travel to Meriden on Monday September 18th to face the Tigers, games start at 4:30PM.
