Middle School Daily Announcements 1/14/25
The inaugural season of the Riverside Middle School Girls Wrestling team started in Sabetha on Friday night. Congratulations to these eight girls, Coach. Ritzer and Coach Perry (not pictured). We saw many great things from a group that started wrestling less than a month ago. They'll be back in action Monday at Rossville. Congratulations ladies! Go Cyclones!
BOARD OF EDUCATION REGULAR MEETING CHANGE NOTICE : The Riverside Board of Education January 13th Regular Monthly Meeting has been postponed until Monday, January 20, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. in the District Office-BOE Conference Room, 1409 Vermont, Elwood, KS 66024.
School will be in session for USD 114 on Thursday, January 9th. Alternate bus routes will be in effect. Paved roads only. Bus drivers will be reaching out to families that are affected.

The Riverside Dance Team is collecting items to donate to families in need this Christmas. Items needed include clothing of any size and gender, toys, hygiene products, blankets, etc. Items will be collected through December 13.

With the recent reconfiguration of classrooms, our Pre-K through 5th-grade students are now all together at East Campus. This exciting change has created a need for additional equipment to ensure every child has the opportunity to play, explore, and enjoy recess to the fullest.
We are excited to make this vision a reality in the near future with the help of your generous donations and additional contributions provided by the district. Together, we can create a safe and engaging environment that supports play and growth for all of our students.
