
The Riverside Ministerial Alliance is hosting Back to School "Summer Jam" in the park Saturday, August 20th at noon. It is being held at the Elwood Community Center.

Parents: If your student is in grades PreK through 8 you do not need to attend registration in person if you complete the portal update, forms document, and fees online. If you do want to register in person and have students in multiple buildings, you do not need to go to all registration settings. You can register the family at one session. The following link contains the forms necessary to complete your registration and the links to update your home/student information, pay fees, and submit your meal benefits application through the portal link.

The forms in the link should be electronically completed if possible. Please complete all forms that apply to your student. Most forms are completed once for all students in your family. The document may filled and submitted by email by choosing to "share" on your android phone, "new message" on your iphone, or share from the computer pdf reader.

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a U.S. government program run by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program to help low-income households pay for internet service and connected devices like a laptop or tablet.

INTERESTED IN BEING A SUBSTITUTE TEACHER? The Kansas Department of Education is now offering an additional option for individuals without 60 college hours. The Expanded Emergency Substitute Application is offered for anyone who has a high school diploma, completed Greenbush Emergency Substitute Training Modules, passes a background check, and Riverside verifies as hired by the district. These licenses will expire at the end of December 2022.

Middle School Cheerleading Mini-Camp information

Due to KSHSAA rules coaches can NOT have contact with players after July 18th. There will be no more MS girls skills on Wednesdays. However Mr. Keller will continue his weight/conditioning program on Tuesday through Thursday at the Elwood campus from 630-830.

Riverside Middle School boys' basketball skills will continue this week on Tuesdays and Thursdays ONLY, from 12:30-2:30 pm in the Wathena gym.

This message is for 7th and 8th grade GIRLS only. If interested you can come to the high school workouts at 9:15 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 11:15 on Wednesday. Workouts usually last around 2 hours and are held at the West Campus.

Sunflower Summer 2022: Free Access to over 80 Kansas Attractions and More!
We are very excited to share with you an opportunity for your children and your family to experience over 80 Kansas attractions, educational activities, and fun events at no cost from May 28th through August 14th. “Sunflower Summer” is in its second year and is a program that was developed by the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) for families to have fun and experience as many of the participating Kansas locations as possible during the summer.

Attractions, activities, and events from across Kansas include zoos, museums, historic landmarks, libraries, day camps, outdoor events, and more.
The updated App for iPhone and Android will be available to download by May 28th to your phone or tablet. Anyone who kept the app on their device from last summer does not need to download it again; instead, they will receive an electronic notice to simply update their app to the 2022 version. An adult will need to register their family members and include their county and school district. Then, families may begin planning their summer fun and acquiring free venue tickets as needed using the app and all of its features!

MS boys summer Basketball skills starts Thursday June 2nd in the East campus big gym from 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. It will run every Monday from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m.. Please bring a water and wear athletic attire.

MS girls summer Basketball and Volleyball skills starts tomorrow June 1st in the Wathena gym from 9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. Please bring a water and wear athletic attire.

Starting Tuesday, May 31st, all Driver's Education and RHS Weight participants must enter the building on the primary side. Please enter through the main primary door (on Harding Avenue). Driver's Education students will enter the multipurpose room from there and weight lifting participants should exit through the cafeteria door to the track and enter the weight room from the back door.
