Cyclones Sweep Pleasant Ridge on the Road
The Riverside Middle School Cyclones traveled to Easton on Monday night to take on the Pleasant Ridge Rams and came away with three convincing victories.
The C team opened the night with a strong performance, finishing well around the basket and earning a 36–15 win. Lincoln Cluck led the Cyclones with 12 points, followed by Otto Schultz with 8 and Andy Benitz with 6. Bryston Cross and Korbin Coleman each added 4 points, while Henry Foley chipped in 2.
In the B team contest, Riverside pulled away in the final minutes to secure a 41–32 victory. Kreedon Murphy paced the Cyclones with 16 points. Ryker Herbster scored 8, Oliver Cluck added 7, and Kaevan Harrington finished with 4. Zayne Euler, Axtyn Deming, and Otto Schultz each contributed 2 points.
The final game of the night saw the Cyclones jump out to an early lead and never look back, cruising to a dominant 58–14 win. Brooks Griffin led all scorers with 13 points. Charles Hewins and TJ McGee each added 12, followed by Daley Garland with 9. Max Koehler scored 5, Tivn Hoffman had 4, and Raheem Luster finished with 3.
Cyclones Go 2–1 at Oskaloosa
The RMS Cyclones boys basketball teams hit the road to Oskaloosa to take on the Bears, finishing the night with two strong victories across three levels of play.
The C team opened the evening in a hard-fought half game that came down to the final possessions. The Cyclones came up just short in a tight 8–7 contest. Lincoln Cluck led the scoring with 3 points, while Otto Schultz and Hudson Smith added 2 points apiece. Despite the loss, the group showed solid defensive effort and competed to the final buzzer.
The B team answered with a dominant performance in a physical matchup, overpowering the Bears 43–12. The Cyclones set the tone early and never let up on either end of the floor. Kreedon Murphy led the charge with 17 points. Otto Schultz added 8, and Zayne Euler chipped in 6. Ryker Herbster and Oliver Cluck each scored 4, while Kaevan Harrington and Axtyn Deming rounded out the scoring with 2 points each.
In the A game, the Cyclones continued their strong season with an impressive 63–23 victory. RMS controlled the pace from the start, using balanced scoring and tough defense to pull away. Brooks Griffin led the way with 19 points, followed closely by TJ McGee with 17. Max Koehler contributed 13, Charles Hewins added 12, and T’ivn Hoffman finished with 2.

• Canned foods
