Elwood United Community church’s youth group will be running a Penny Drive for the Water Crisis in Jackson, MS. It will begin today and end Oct. 14th for grades 3-8. The money raised will be used to buy cases of water and water filters. The class who brings in the most change will be rewarded with a pizza party. Riverside 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders attended Reality U yesterday. This was an outstanding personal finance program for our students, learning about life as a 26 year-old. From this event, we hope there was some discussion at home last night, and maybe a Thanks Mom & Dad!
