The RMS boys basketball practice begins tomorrow form 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm in the East campus small gym. Please wear appropriate practice attire and have your basketball shoes. A full calendar will be given to players tomorrow.
Cyclones late comeback comes up short in 57-54 loss to Jeff West. Cyclones now 1-2 with 2 close losses.

The Riverside Middle School girls basketball team hosted the Troy Trojans on Thursday December 8th. Playing only 2 games, the Cyclones were unstoppable in both. In the A game the Cyclones put up 42 points, and only allowing the Trojans 9. Scoring for that game was Kennedy Griffin 21, Tori Ortega 8, Maycee Meers 8, Rachel Cera 2 and Jasmine Robinson 1. In the B action, the Cyclones had no problem either beating the Trojans 37-15. Scoring for them Kenlee Kiefer 15, Hadleigh Meers 13 and Brooklyn Poirier 9. Thanks to all who have come support us this season.
The Riverside community will be collecting a love offering tonight at the games for the Eckert family (ACCHS girls basketball coach). We will be collecting money at half time of the boys’ game.

The Riverside MS girls 7A team takes 2nd in the Big 7 Monday, after
beating Jeff West 27-19. Scoring for the girls: Kennedy Griffin 12, Tori

Micah Robidou and Mikel Rullman were selected to perform with the 2022 Northeast KMEA (Kansas Music Educators Association) Honor Band. This is an ensemble for top-performing students from each nominating school. Mikel was placed as the fourth chair clarinet and Micah was placed as the third chair trumpet. They traveled to Topeka on Saturday, spent the morning rehearsing with an accomplished local director, and performed a concert. Congratulations to both wonderful musicians!
