The RHS Athletic Banquet 2022 is Friday, May 6th, at the West Campus Gymnasium.
The dinner is at 6:00 pm followed by the Awards Banquet at 7:00 pm. Dinner will be provided by the RHS Booster Club to all student athletes (including managers), coaches and coaches' family who plan to attend. For all others who would like to attend the dinner, the cost is $10 per person. There is no cost and you DO NOT need to turn in a reservation form if you plan to attend the awards ceremony only.
The RMS Track Meet @ ACCJHS on Monday, April 4th begins at 3:30 p.m. Team will leave school at 1:45. Field events begin at 3:30. The 3200m run starts at 4:15. All other running starts at 5:00 with 7th girls, 8th girls, 7th boys, and 8th boys running order. Race order: 75 hurdles, 100m, 1600m, 4x100 relay, 400m, 4x200 relay, 800m, 200m, and 4x400 relay.

The RHS Softball games scheduled for tonight at ACCHS have been moved to Wathena. First game will start at 4:30 pm with the second one following after.

Riverside HS Hosts 1st Track Meet of the Season
The Riverside HS Track Invitational was held Tuesday. It was our first meet of the year and our kids competed real well in spite of the cold and windy conditions. On the girls side, Sophie Juhl, Faith Orcutt and Karmen Baldwin led the way with individual 1st place finishes in the triple jump, pole vault and 800 respectively, along with a team win in the 4x100 (Bailey Cooper and Tysaun Kirby also part of that relay). Bailey Cooper also contributed to the team's points with 3rd place finishes in the triple and long jumps. Sophie Juhl also had a second place in the long jump and Faith Orcutt received a bronze medal in the 200. Overall it was a great start for the team, placing 4th and earning 72 points.,
On the boys side, Christopher Brooke and Cody Hewins took the top 2 spots in the pole vault and Cody also earned second place in the 1600. Landon Conard took 3rd place in the 400 running a new PR by 3 seconds. Josh King also helped with some points in the 200 and Javelin and Darrion Hernandez placed 6th in the Long Jump.
We're really excited with how all of our athletes did this first meet and look forward to continued improvements in the weeks to come.
