3:00 p.m. – Varsity and JV Scholars Bowl students leave for Doniphan West. These students will be dismissed at 2:50. Competition starts at 4:00.
Share in the spirit of giving this Christmas season by taking a tag from the Angel Tree located in front of the high school office. Return the wrapped gift along with the tag to Mrs. Newton, Mr. Clarkson or a student council member by Monday, December 6.
Lifetouch will be taking basketball and wrestling pictures on Dec. 8 after school. Your coach will have order forms.

For interested parents, the Doniphan County Health Department will hold COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics for children ages 5-17 for the following dates at the health department:
- Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (2nd dose, December 14, 2021-3 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
- Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. (2nd Dose, December 23, 2021-3 p.m. to 6 p.m.)

Reminder – Student council‘s volleyball tournament is being held next Tuesday, November 23. Teams must consist of no more than seven players. If you still need to sign up your teams, there are forms in the middle school office and in Ms. Bowers’ art room. Team rosters, money, and permission slips are all due this Friday by first lunch so please turn them in as soon as possible to Ms. Bowers or the office. Starting Tuesday, November 16, middle school wrestling practice will now be held at the west campus multi-purpose room in Wathena after school until 5:15. The boys will ride one of the buses to the high school after school, but will need to be picked up after practice over on the elementary side (northeast side down from the playground area). This is for this week and the week following Thanksgiving.
