Halle Studer is the MSC athlete of the week. Halle hit 3 home runs in the Hiawatha double header, going 4-4 with 2 home runs in the Cyclones 8-7 win. She is hitting .767 on the year and is 18-18 on stolen bases. Congratulations Halle!!

Riverside Track and Field Competes at DWest
The Riverside Track and Field team competed after a week off (due to weather) at the Doniphan West Invitational held at Highland CC Wellness Center. It was one of the first nice days of the season and many of the results reflected that.
Beginning with the girls, personal records were set by freshmen Bayleigh Cooper in the 100, Makayla Cera in the Shot and Disc, Dee Noel in the Shot and Javelin, Karmen Baldwin in the 800 and 100m hurdles, Sophomores Sophie Juhl set a season best in the Long Jump and Faith Orcutt in the 100 hurdles. Senior Allison Schultz also set a PR in the Long Jump. The girls 4x100 teams (Juhl, Kirby, Cooper and Bladwin) and (Cera, Noel, Schultz and Orcutt) also both set new bests. Riverside placed 4th as a team with 47 points on the girls side.
On the boys side, personal records were set by freshmen Landon Conard in the 100, 200 and triple jump, Josh King in the 200, shot put and discus, Darrion Hernandez in the 200, and Cody Hewins in the 800. Riverside placed 5th with 17 points.

Cyclone softball wins the 2nd game against Hiawatha 9-8 in 8 innings to gain a split in their doubleheader. The Cyclones scored 1 in the 7th to tie and won it with a run in the 8th. Congratulations!!
